Kathryn Johnson (B.A. UNC Chapel Hill, Ph.D. Harvard) joined the faculty in 1988.  She teaches courses in Islamic Studies and serves as the director of the Islamic Studies Interdisciplinary Program in the College of Arts and Sciences.
